Turn on filtering

1. Open Settings › Apps › Messages.
2. Tap Unknown & Spam.
3. Under SMS Filtering, choose Shoofox.

Then turn on at least one list or rule in the app. iPhone can't tell Shoofox whether filtering is on, so the app can't check this for you.

Find filtered texts

In Messages, open the filter menu at the top of your conversation list and choose Junk, Promotions or Transactions. Filtered texts are moved, never deleted.

A text wasn't filtered

• Shoofox only sees SMS and MMS from numbers that aren't in your Contacts. iMessages and texts from contacts are never passed to it.
• Paste the text into the Test tab to see which filters it went through and why none matched.
• On the free tier, only your first 2 switched-on filters run.

A real text went to Junk

Open the Test tab with that text to see which word matched, then skip that word in the list (tap it) or edit your rule. Saving the sender to Contacts also stops filtering for them.

Restore your purchase

Open Settings in Shoofox and tap Restore purchase. The unlock is shared with your family through Family Sharing.
